video editing
Post-production clip work
Video editing is the process of manipulating and arranging video footage to create a finished product.
This includes cutting and splicing clips, adjusting timing, adding transitions, layering audio, and incorporating effects or graphics.
Once requiring specialized equipment, video editing now happens mostly on computers: She spent the weekend video editing her vacation footage.
The term covers everything from trimming home movies to assembling feature films.
