tracking shot
Camera follows action
A tracking shot is a film technique where the camera moves alongside, toward, or away from the subject, typically on rails or a dolly.
The movement follows action through space rather than remaining stationary: The tracking shot followed her down the hallway.
Distinguished from pans and zooms, which don't physically relocate the camera.
