storyboard
Visual shooting script
A storyboard is a sequence of drawings or images showing the planned shots of a film, animation, or video before production begins.
Each panel represents a camera angle or scene, with notes on dialogue, action, and timing.
Directors and animators use storyboards to visualize the flow of a project: We storyboarded the entire chase sequence before shooting.
The verb means to create such a plan.
