timeline
History's visual chart
A timeline is a visual or conceptual representation of events arranged in chronological order along a line, typically with dates marked to show when things occurred.
Timelines help illustrate the sequence and relative spacing of historical events, project milestones, or personal histories.
In social media contexts, timeline refers to the stream of posts and updates that appears on a user's feed: I scrolled through my timeline for an hour.
As a verb, to timeline something means to plot it out chronologically or schedule it across time.
