SEA
Pacific Rim initialism
Sea is a large body of salt water, smaller than an ocean but often used interchangeably with it: lost at sea, sea breeze, sea level.
Specific seas are usually partially enclosed by land: the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean Sea.
Sea extends to any vast expanse: a sea of faces, a sea of troubles.
At sea means on the ocean or, figuratively, confused and directionless.
