trawler
Commercial fishing vessel
A trawler is a fishing boat that drags a large net (a trawl) along the sea bottom or through the water to catch fish.
The term extends to the crew operating such vessels.
Trawler also describes a style of recreational boat with a displacement hull designed for fuel-efficient long-distance cruising rather than speed.
