vessel
Ship or bowl
A vessel is a container, typically for liquids—a drinking vessel, a blood vessel, a pressure vessel.
The word extends to watercraft of all sizes, from small boats to large ships: The vessel ran aground in shallow water.
In religious or literary contexts, a person may be called a vessel for something they carry or channel: a vessel of God's grace.
