printing
Ink on paper
Printing is the process of reproducing text or images, typically by pressing inked surfaces onto paper.
The term covers everything from Gutenberg's movable type to modern laser printers.
A printing is also a single production run of a book: The novel is in its third printing.
Printing as handwriting means forming disconnected letters rather than cursive script: Please print your name clearly.
