lithography
Greasy ink process
Lithography is a printing technique where an image is drawn on a flat stone or metal plate with a greasy substance, then chemically treated so ink adheres only to the drawn areas.
The process produces prints with subtle tonal gradations.
In semiconductor manufacturing, photolithography uses light to transfer circuit patterns onto silicon wafers—the foundation of modern chip production.
