hand printing
Writing without cursive
Hand printing is writing in which letters are formed individually rather than connected in cursive script—essentially printing by hand rather than typing or using joined handwriting.
Forms and applications often request hand printing for legibility: Please hand print your name and address.
The term also applies to the printmaking technique of pressing inked blocks or plates by hand rather than machine.
