plastisol

Heated, becomes solid

Plastisol is a liquid suspension of PVC particles in plasticizer that becomes solid when heated.

It's widely used for screen printing on textiles—the rubbery, slightly raised ink on t-shirt graphics is typically plastisol: The design was printed with plastisol ink.

It also coats tool handles, dips fishing lures, and molds flexible parts.
