traveler

One who journeys

A traveler is someone who journeys from place to place.

The word covers everyone from tourists on vacation to business professionals in transit to wanderers with no fixed destination.

Fellow travelers originally meant people on the same journey, but came to describe those who sympathize with a cause without formally joining it.

Also spelled traveller in British English.
