traveller

One who roams

A traveller is someone who journeys from place to place—whether for work, pleasure, or necessity.

The word often implies extended or repeated travel rather than a single trip: a seasoned traveller, fellow travellers on the train.

In British usage, Traveller (often capitalized) refers to members of traditionally itinerant communities, including Romani people and Irish Travellers.
