guest
Someone you host
A guest is someone received and entertained at another's home, or someone paying for lodging at a hotel or similar establishment.
The word implies a temporary presence and often an expectation of hospitality: We're having guests for dinner, The hotel guest complained about the noise.
Guest extends to anyone invited to participate: a guest speaker, a guest star on a television show.
As a verb, to guest is to appear as a guest performer: She guested on several podcasts.
