Before-death aspirations
A bucket list is a collection of experiences or achievements someone hopes to accomplish before dying—before "kicking the bucket." The term gained wide use after the 2007 film of that name.
Items typically include travel destinations, personal challenges, or long-deferred dreams: Seeing the Northern Lights is on my bucket list.
