honor
Moral uprightness maintained
As a noun, honor (spelled honour in British English) is a high standard of conduct, and the regard people have for someone who exhibits this trait.
An honor can also be a particular distinction that someone is given for their actions: He was buried with full military honors.
As a verb, you honor a commitment or agreement by carrying through with what you said you would do.
When you honor someone you do something, perhaps something ceremonial, to demonstrate your esteem for them.
When you honor someone’s memory, you demonstrate the respect you had for them when they were alive.
