senators
Capitol Hill hundred
Senators is the plural of senator, a member of a senate—a legislative body that typically forms the upper house of a government.
In the United States, each state elects two senators to represent it in Congress: Both senators from Ohio voted against the bill.
The term applies to similar positions in other countries and to members of university governing bodies.
