electorate
All eligible voters
An electorate is the body of people entitled to vote in an election: The electorate rejected the incumbent.
In some countries, particularly Australia, an electorate is also a geographic voting district—what Americans call a congressional district or constituency.
The word emphasizes voters as a collective political force rather than as individuals.
