presidents
Heads of state
Presidents is the plural of president—a person who presides over an organization, company, or country.
In American usage, president most often refers to the head of state: Four presidents have been assassinated in office.
The word also applies to corporate executives and university leaders: The presidents of both companies attended the merger announcement.
