constituency
Representative's home turf
A constituency is a body of voters represented by an elected official, or the district those voters inhabit: She won her constituency by a narrow margin.
More broadly, constituency means any group of supporters or stakeholders whose interests someone serves: The proposal appeals to the governor's core constituency.
Politicians speak of building, losing, or appealing to constituencies.
