A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is the address that identifies a specific resource on the internet—a webpage, image, or file.
It typically includes a protocol (http, https), domain name, and path: The URL for the homepage is listed at the bottom of the flyer.
In casual speech, URL often just means any web link: Send me the URL when you find it. (Lowercase url appears in informal writing.)
