link
Clickable web address
A link is a connection: a rail link connects two places by rail; a download link connects you with a file that you can download; and link sausages are joined end to end.
When two things are linked, they share a connection.
When you link two things, you either establish or point out the connection between them.
If evidence links you to a crime, watch out for the police!
A cufflink is a small piece of jewelry that joins the cuff on a long-sleeved shirt.
