GPS coordinates
Satellite position data
GPS coordinates are a pair of numbers—latitude and longitude—that pinpoint a location on Earth's surface.
The Global Positioning System uses satellites to determine these coordinates, enabling navigation devices and smartphone maps to show exactly where you are or guide you somewhere: I'll text you the GPS coordinates.
The format varies: degrees-minutes-seconds or decimal degrees.
