tidal
Ebbing and flowing
Tidal describes anything relating to tides—the regular rise and fall of sea levels caused by gravitational pull from the moon and sun.
A tidal pool forms when the tide recedes.
Tidal waves are sometimes confused with tsunamis, though technically they're different phenomena.
Figuratively, tidal suggests overwhelming force or rhythm: a tidal wave of emotion, tidal shifts in public opinion.
