high tide
Sea at maximum
High tide is the point when the ocean reaches its highest level on shore, occurring roughly twice daily as gravitational forces from the moon and sun pull water toward coastlines.
The opposite is low tide.
Figuratively, high tide suggests a peak or maximum: The high tide of his influence came in the 1990s.
