London Bridge
Arizona's transplanted span
London Bridge is a bridge over the River Thames in London, connecting the City of London to Southwark.
The name refers to successive structures on the same site dating back nearly two thousand years.
The medieval bridge, lined with shops and houses, was famously sold in 1968 and relocated to Arizona.
The children's song "London Bridge Is Falling Down" references the structure's long history of collapse and repair.
Often confused with the more ornate Tower Bridge nearby.
