Golden Gate
San Francisco strait
Golden Gate refers to the strait connecting San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean, and more commonly to the Golden Gate Bridge spanning it.
The bridge, completed in 1937, is among the world's most recognized structures, its distinctive orange-red towers iconic in photographs and films.
We watched the fog roll in under the Golden Gate.
