viewpoint
Where one stands
A viewpoint is the position from which someone sees or considers something.
Literally, it's a place offering a good view: We stopped at a viewpoint overlooking the canyon.
More often it's figurative—a perspective or way of thinking about an issue: From my viewpoint, the decision was unfair.
Try to see it from her viewpoint.
