Privacy Policy

Privacy Overview

We’re a nonprofit. We collect almost nothing, and what little we gather is completely anonymous.

We Don’t

  • Collect personal information
  • Require accounts or emails
  • Sell or share your data
  • Track you across other sites
  • Show ads

We Use

Google Analytics — anonymous stats:

  • Which pages are popular
  • How long people stay
  • General region (e.g., “Maryland”)
  • Browser and device type

Who We Are

IDEA is a 501(c)(3) that makes educational games. No investors, no ad revenue — we just want to know if anyone’s reading.

The Details

What Google Analytics Sees

When you visit idea.org, Google Analytics records which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, your general region (not your street address), and your browser/device type. It does NOT record your name, email, IP address, or anything that identifies you personally.

If You Email Us

If you contact us via our contact page, we receive your email. We use it only to reply to you. We don’t add you to any list.

Kids

We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. There’s nothing to collect.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Given how little we collect, don’t expect drama.

IDEA has been making complex things accessible since 1999. That includes privacy policies.
