Brooklyn Bridge

East River landmark

The Brooklyn Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the East River between Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York City.

Completed in 1883, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world and became an iconic symbol of the city.

The expression I've got a bridge to sell you alludes to a classic confidence scheme supposedly involving the Brooklyn Bridge, now used to suggest someone is gullible.
