junior staff
Lower-ranked team members
Junior staff are employees at lower levels of an organization's hierarchy, typically those with less experience, seniority, or authority.
The term distinguishes newer or entry-level workers from senior staff who hold more responsibility: The junior staff handle data entry while senior analysts review the reports.
In some contexts, junior staff may include interns, assistants, or associates.
