Kids who read
Young readers refers to children and adolescents as an audience category for books and other written material.
Publishers use the term to designate content appropriate for roughly ages 8-14, between picture books and adult fiction: a fantasy novel for young readers, the young readers edition.
The category overlaps with middle grade and young adult but suggests the younger end of that spectrum.
