sepulcher
Stone burial chamber
A sepulcher is a tomb or burial chamber, especially one cut into rock or built as a monument.
The word is literary and evokes ancient or sacred contexts: the Holy Sepulcher, a family sepulcher.
Figuratively, anything that entombs or conceals may be called a sepulcher.
