TCP/IP
Internet communication standard
TCP/IP is the fundamental protocol suite governing how data travels across the Internet and most computer networks.
TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) breaks data into packets, ensures reliable delivery, and reassembles them in order.
IP (Internet Protocol) handles addressing and routing—getting packets from source to destination.
Together they form the technical backbone of networked communication: Every device on the Internet uses TCP/IP.
