Jordan River

Dead Sea source

The Jordan River is a waterway in the Middle East flowing south from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea, forming part of the border between Israel and Jordan.

It holds deep significance in Jewish and Christian tradition—the Israelites crossed it entering the Promised Land, and Jesus was baptized in its waters.

We visited the Jordan River on our pilgrimage.
