disciples
A teacher's adherents
Disciples are followers or students of a teacher, leader, or philosophy.
The term most often refers to the twelve followers of Jesus in Christian tradition, but extends to devoted adherents of any influential figure or movement: a disciple of Freud, disciples of minimalist design.
A disciple implies committed study and personal allegiance, not casual interest.
