confluence
Where streams meet
Confluence is where two or more things flow together, most often rivers: the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi.
The word extends to any meeting or merging: a confluence of events, a confluence of influences.
In technical contexts, Confluence is also a widely used collaboration software platform.
