Delhi

Yamuna River metropolis

Delhi is India's capital territory and one of its largest urban centers, located in northern India along the Yamuna River.

The name distinguishes between Old Delhi, the historic walled city with Mughal-era monuments, and New Delhi, the planned governmental district built during British colonial rule.
