Fried Indian bread
Paratha is a South Asian flatbread, unleavened and pan-fried with oil or ghee.
Unlike plain roti, parathas are flaky and often layered from being folded during preparation.
They may be stuffed with spiced potatoes, cauliflower, or other fillings: aloo paratha, gobi paratha.
A breakfast staple across India and Pakistan, typically served with yogurt, pickle, or curry.
