Bangalore

India's tech hub

Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka state in southern India, officially renamed Bengaluru in 2006.

It's India's major technology hub, home to countless software companies and startups—often called "the Silicon Valley of India." The city's name sometimes appears as a verb meaning to outsource jobs overseas: Half our IT department got Bangalored.
