Bangkok

Chao Phraya metropolis

Bangkok is the capital and largest city of Thailand, located on the Chao Phraya River delta.

The city serves as Thailand's political, economic, and cultural center, known for ornate temples, street food, and a sprawling urban landscape.

Its formal Thai name, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, is commonly shortened to Krung Thep.

We spent a week in Bangkok exploring the temples and markets.
