Eid

Post-Ramadan observance

Eid is an Arabic word meaning "festival" or "feast," used in Islam to designate major religious celebrations.

The two principal eids are Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan's month-long fast, and Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice commemorating Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son.

Both occasions involve special prayers, festive meals, gift-giving, and gatherings with family and friends.

We're hosting the whole family for Eid this year.
