South Asian treat
Kulfi is a dense, creamy frozen dessert from South Asia, often described as Indian ice cream.
Unlike Western ice cream, kulfi is not whipped, giving it a denser texture.
It's traditionally made by slowly simmering milk until reduced, then flavoring with cardamom, pistachio, saffron, or mango.
Kulfi is often molded into conical shapes or served on a stick: We got mango kulfi from the street vendor.
