Secretariat

Legendary seventies thoroughbred

Secretariat was an American Thoroughbred racehorse who won the Triple Crown in 1973, setting records in all three races that still stand.

Nicknamed "Big Red," he is widely considered the greatest racehorse of all time.

His 31-length victory at the Belmont Stakes remains one of the most dominant performances in sports history. (Lowercase secretariat is an administrative department.)
