thruster
Spacecraft propulsion unit
A thruster is a device that produces thrust—propulsive force that moves something forward or controls its orientation.
The term appears most often in aerospace and marine contexts: spacecraft use small thrusters for maneuvering, and ships use bow thrusters for docking.
In fitness, a thruster is an exercise combining a front squat with an overhead press: We did fifty thrusters for time.
