Directs the spray
A nozzle is a spout or tube fitted to the end of a hose, pipe, or container to direct or control the flow of liquid or gas: Adjust the nozzle to change the spray pattern.
Nozzles appear on garden hoses, fuel pumps, rocket engines, and spray bottles.
The word sometimes refers informally to a nose.
