cable row

Back strength exercise

A cable row is a strength training exercise performed on a cable machine, pulling a weighted handle toward the torso while seated or standing.

The movement targets the back muscles, particularly the latissimus dorsi and rhomboids: I added cable rows to my pull day routine.

Variations include seated, standing, and single-arm versions.
