attitude
How you approach things
Your attitude toward or about something is the way you feel about it, as reflected in your behavior.
Attitudes can be positive, negative, or neutral, but often when people talk about attitude without characterizing it, they mean a bad attitude: He had such an attitude when he came in this morning that no one wanted to talk to him.
This usage may explain why one of the most frequent verbs that precedes attitude is change: The community has slowly changed its attitude and now seems very welcoming to newcomers.
You can also use attitude to talk about posture or physical position: Several statues of the Buddha show him in a reclining attitude.
