stuff

Cram it in

Stuff is a general, uncountable noun whose closest synonym is things.

What stuff refers to is often only made clear by a preceding adjective (cool stuff, fun stuff, weird stuff, crazy stuff).

Someone’s stuff may be their personal possessions (get your stuff off the table! ) or their personal problems or issues (she’s dealing with relationship stuff).

To stuff something is to fill it with a uniform substance, the way you might stuff a pillow.

To stuff yourself is to eat too much.
