unstuff

Empty the filling

To unstuff is to remove stuffing or contents from something previously filled: She unstuffed the turkey to carve it properly.

The word also applies to clearing congestion: The decongestant finally unstuffed my nose.

Figuratively, to unstuff can mean to relax formality or pretension—the opposite of being stuffy.
